If it was Dracula was to blame for Lucy’s death, she should have died earlier in the story. She has been bitten numerous times by Dracula and was able to have been saved by the doctors. This means that she could have been saved before dying, but the doctors were not at her aid. If the patient was in a situation Lucy was in, there should have been people nursing Lucy by her side, or at least a person to check on her outside the door. The doctors merely told Lucy not to open any windows or doors during the night and left her alone. Since the doctors did not pay enough attention to Lucy, it is there fault for letting her die.
